“Les Ténèbres – Le pyrite cuivreuse” is another no-cotton wrap from the Wild Slings Minerals collection! This we chose our most famous and characteristic pattern: Les Ténèbres. This version is a part of the Minerals collection and is inspired by the chalcopyrite, also known as the peacock stone. Chalcopyrite is an exceptionally beautiful stone that helps to connect with our inner self. It is considered a magic stone of inner development, it helps us to open our hearts to the beauty of the world around us, as well as to notice the hidden values and wonderful qualities of people close to us, it opens us to the richness of life. For those reasons, it is sometimes also called the stone of mystical experiences – it helps in the instinctive understanding of the past and spiritual connection with our ancestors. Therefore it is an excellent conductor of positive energy, it helps us to calm down and to free ourselves from the rush of unnecessary thoughts.
The colors of the wrap reflect perfectly the beauty of this “peacock stone”: the indigo color, which is its main color, is intertwined with the green of spring grass, the purple of wildflowers, and the beautiful light yarn that unites everything into one, wonderful pattern. It is finished with incredible fringes, each one of them being handcrafted, giving a spectacular visual and sensory effect and making this wrap a real piece of art.
“Les Ténèbres – Le pyrite cuivreuse” is a no-cotton wrap, made of 35% of tussah silk, of 40% of extremely soft, distinctive, noble linen, of 10% of natural bamboo and of 15% of yak wool (270 gsm). This wrap is interwoven with beautiful tussah silk, creating a magical mosaic full of blue, orange and beige numbs. Bamboo adds to the mix its bacteriocidal, anti-static, anti-fungal properties and at the same time, it absorbs moisture well, which makes it suitable for hot days. Thanks to this special blend, this wrap is soft and makes it easy to carry your child with. It is also finished with beautiful fringes, each of which is handmade, giving a spectacular visual and sensory effect. This very unique and noble blend, strong, and flexible, is perfect for both a small baby and a toddler, nature friendly, and vegan.
